Julia Thomson

Julia has over ten years’ experience across the Australia and the United Kingdom in local, regional and state government. She is sought after in the areas of strategic planning and policy development, with particular expertise in the use of digital and data tools, environmental issues, and strategic plan development. She was instrumental in the development of several groundbreaking data sharing initiatives at the NSW Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner and Greater London Authority (advising the Mayor of London and senior leaders). Julia is an active member of the Planning Institute of Australia, sitting on the National PlanTech Working Group and the South Australia Women in Planning Network.
